Due to vehicle collision, expect extensive southbound traffic delays on the Henry Hudson Parkway approaching 91st Street in Manhattan. Consider alternate routes and allow for additional travel time.

The NYC Emergency Management Department advises New Yorkers to prepare for potential winter weather on Sunday, 1/18. The National Weather Service has forecast 1-3inches of snow with locally higher amounts possible and winds of and gusts up to total of mph. [Insert wind chill if applicable]
City agencies are preparing for the storm, as periods of [snow/freezing rain/winds] may cause difficult travel conditions and power outages.
- New Yorkers are advised to limit travel and stay inside during periods of severe weather.
- If you must travel, exercise caution. Roads and surfaces may be slippery. Use mass transit if possible.
- If you must go outdoors, wear dry, warm clothing and cover exposed skin. Keep fingertips, earlobes, and noses covered.

Emergency personnel are on the scene of a three alarm fire located at Flushing Avenue and Woodward Avenue in Queens. Expect smoke, traffic delays, and a presence of emergency personnel and vehicles in the area.
The NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene advises avoiding smoke exposure from structural fires by closing windows while indoors and reducing outdoor activity where smoke is present. People with heart or breathing conditions such as asthma may be more sensitive and should seek immediate medical attention if they experience a worsening of their condition, shortness of breath, or chest pains.
